The device has a cup (B) including a hole (L) of defined size in base of the cup, and a scale (S) assigning fluid level to a viscosity value, where the scale indicates the viscosity in centipoise. The scale directly indicates a suitable pump calibration or needle size, and a handle is separable from the cup. A conical lower area of the cup is provided with a nozzle (D) that is exchangeable.
