The soundproof wall has a supporting wall plate made of bearing concrete. A facing formwork is provided as a sound absorption layer, where the sound absorption layer includes filling materials i.e. expanded-clay bodies (7), and a binding material (8). Multiple sound-absorption channels (11) are provided between the filling materials, where a predominant portion of the filling materials includes a uniform grain size. The filling material is made of a mineral material i.e. expanded clay, and a plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a fine-porous soundproof wall.
