Device for determining and limiting over current in coil in three-phase or poly-phase electrical motor for use in washing machine, has comparator, by which current is compared in direct current voltage intermediate circuit
The device has a comparator, by which current to be measured on the common terminal post is compared in the direct current voltage intermediate circuit with a reference value. The current is supplied to an electric motor (3) over frequency converter (4) or an inverter with controlled half-bridges. The reference value is formed from the sum of the constant component or a part of the measured current and a fixed pre-regulated value. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining and limiting over current in the coil in a 3-phase or a poly-phase electrical engine.
