Absorbing incontinence article for use as sanitary article, has side sections with reinforcing unit considerably formed as sections and provided in area that bypasses edges, where unit catches longitudinal edge area and part of sections
The article (2) has side sections (16) extending in a transverse direction (22) over lateral longitudinal edges (20) of a main part and connecting front and rear areas with each other in an applied condition of the article. The sections are separated from each other and attached to the rear and/or at the front areas. The sections have a reinforcing unit (24) formed considerably as the sections and provided in an area that bypasses the edges. The reinforcing unit catches a lateral longitudinal edge area of the main part and a part of the sections in the transverse direction.
