The circuit arrangement has an amplifier with an output terminal (105), a duplexer (112) with an input terminal coupled at the output terminal of the amplifier and has an input/output terminals (115) that are jointly coupled on the antenna (AX). A circuit (117) is for generating an impedance load maladjustment at the input terminal of the duplexer, depending on the impedance of the output terminal of the amplifier. The circuit arrangement for the operation in a Universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) part of a dual mode UMTS or Global system for mobile : Independent claims are also included for the following : (1) a method for the operation of a circuit arrangement with an amplifier, a duplexer and a circuit (2) a method for the operation of a dual mode universal mobile telecommunications system/global system for mobile of cell phone.
