The carrier has a retainer area (12) for commercial road vehicle e.g. truck, batteries (14, 16) connected with a consumer load by lines installed within the carrier. An electrical device (38) is supported and arranged within a housing (10) of the carrier. The device is arranged within an additional housing that is mounted in the housing of the carrier. The housing and the additional housing are connected with one another by a passage opening. A base (36) is swivelably held in the housing. The base is provided in an upper edge of a side wall with recesses for guiding lines of the device.
