The electrical machine has a laminated stator core with a number of individual stator core laminations (3). A laminated rotor core is coaxially arranged with the laminated stator core. The rotor core has a number of individual rotor core laminations (5), where each of the individual stator core laminations with the individual rotor core laminations form a lamination pair and stamped out from a single raw sheet. A laminated enclosure has a number of individual enclosure core laminations (4). Each of the enclosure core laminations with the lamination pair, is stamped out from the raw sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an electrical machine.
