The component (10) has a belt buckle fitting (14) that is attached at a glider (18), which is guided in a vehicle-fixed guide rail (20), and a seat fitting (22) coupled with the glider over a coupling device (24), where the glider is carried over the fitting during the movement of a vehicle seat (12). The coupling device is designed such that the glider and the fitting takes place by a linear relative movement of the glider to the fitting during the assembly of the coupling, where the movement takes place towards the rail, and the coupling is achieved by a locking connection.
