The system (1) has a conveying system for transporting test tubes (5), that contain a blood sample, to analysis stations (2). The test tubes are transported from the conveying system into transport containers (6) that contain a transponder, where sample-specific information are stored in the transponder. The transport of the transport containers with the test tubes is controlled based on the sample-specific information. A barcode is attached to each of the test tubes and contains characteristics information of the sample, where a bar code reader (12) detects the bar code.
