Electric motor`s e.g. synchronous motor, inverse electromotive force eliminating module, has blocking unit provided for blocking energy supply from converter side to power supply side in case of predetermined voltage rise in converter side
The module (1) has an energy dissipation unit (2) realized by two brake resistors that are connected in parallel, where the module is arranged between a converter side (5) and a power supply side (6). A direction-dependent blocking unit (7) is connected directly with a connection of the power supply side and/or the converter side. The blocking unit is provided for permitting energy flow from the power supply side to the converter side and blocks the energy supply from the converter side to the power supply side in case of a predetermined voltage rise in the converter side.
