The lock (1) has a rotating catch (3) rotatably supported around a rotating axis (4) between release and locking positions. A locking unit (6) is rotatably supported around a rotating axis (7), where the axes run parallel to each other. A device for preventing releasing of a unit to be locked (5) during excessive acceleration is formed as a stop unit (14), which is made of metal. The stop unit enables a relative movement between the catch and the locking unit in the direction of the axes till a position, where the catch and the locking unit overlaps in the direction of the axes.
