Gas bag i.e. knee gas bag, folding method for vehicle occupant supporting device, involves pushing side sections of rolled gas bag inward, and again rolling gas bag with pushed side sections
The method involves spreading a knee gas bag (10), so that a front wall (12) of the gas bag lies on a rear wall (14) of the gas bag. The gas bag is rolled, and side sections of the rolled gas bag are pushed inward. The gas bag is again rolled with the pushed side sections, where the rolling direction is perpendicular to the pushing direction of the side sections. An end section (10c) of the gas bag is pushed-in before rolling the gas bag, where the pushing direction of the end section (10c) is perpendicular to the pushing direction of the side sections. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a gas module (2) a vehicle occupant supporting device.
