Stainless steel tube end oil-wetting method, involves wetting stainless steel tube end on its outer surface and inner surface, where wetting of inner surface is effected by its aperture opening
The method involves positioning a stainless steel tube end (8) approximately in a horizontal orientation with respect to its longitudinal axis. The regions pre-arranged transverse to the tube end and shifted eccentrically to the tube longitudinal axis are sprinkled with oil drops from two directions. The tube-end is wetted on its outer surface and inner surface, where the wetting of the inner surface is effected by its aperture opening. The oil existing on a front circular surface of the tube end after wetting is removed. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method of oil-wetting an end of a stainless steel tube.
