The hydraulic pressure amplifier has a housing (14) with a peripheral wall between the low pressure (18) and high pressure (19) end sides. An outflow valve (9), near the high pressure side, has an outflow (10) for high pressure hydraulic fluid. The outflow channel (26,26a) opens into the wall or a closure plug (27) is screwed into the high pressure side to close the installation channel (22) holding the valve.
