The rivet has a hollow rivet (1), which consists of plastics. A contact collar is formed by a flange. A hollow spring unit is guided into a hollow shaft (4). The spring unit is designed for spring engagement within an area of the end of the shaft of the hollow rivet, where the end of the shaft turns away from the contact collar. A fixing unit, which is designed in the shape of a pin, is provided for fixing the deformed hollow rivet in its fastening condition.
