The device has multipart pencil-shaped element (10) has two ends (14, 24). The one end at the papillary muscle and the other end are applied at the canvas. The concave shaped former end of the pin shaped element is applied at the papillary muscle. The later convex shaped end is partly applied at the canvas having running recess (26). An independent claim is also included for a method for determining the length of artificial chordae with the mitral valvuloplasty.
