A method for arraying phonemes of a brand name, a database structure for phoneme array, a population database structure for the similar brand names, a method for arraying brand data, a storage medium storing the same, and the method and a system for searching the similar brand names are provided to find a population including brand name pronunciation received from a user by classifying the brand names of a brand database into each population based on similar phoneme groups. A user PC(50) inputs pronunciation of a brand name to be searched and displays a search result. A brand name database(20) stores brand names and brand information including the pronunciation of the brand names. A population database(30) includes each item of populations fixed by case of a predetermined similar first sound group array corresponding to the number of syllables, and is formed by matching the brand name pronunciations stored in the brand name database with one population item according to a first sound array state. A similar brand name search server(10) extracts the population having the same first sound array order among the populations by considering a first sound array structure of the brand name pronunciation received from the user PC and transmits a list of the brand name pronunciations included in the population to the user PC.
