An oligonucleotide primer is provided to amplify species-specific and genus-specific genes of food poisoning causing bacteria, thereby detecting the causing bacteria of food poisoning rapidly and accurately within a short time with excellent and high sensitivity. An oligonucleotide primer set for amplifying genes for detecting salmonella and campylobacter comprises at least one primer pair selected from the group consisting of an oligonucleotide primer pair for gene amplification described in SEQ ID : NOs. 1 and 2, an oligonucleotide primer pair for gene amplification described in SEQ ID : NOs. 3 and 4, an oligonucleotide primer pair for gene amplification described in SEQ ID : NOs. 5 and 6 and an oligonucleotide primer pair for gene amplification described in SEQ ID : NOs. 7 and 8. A method for detecting food poisoning causing bacteria comprises a step of detecting the causing bacteria of food poisoning through PCR using the primer set. A kit for detecting causing bacteria of food poisoning comprises the primer set as a PCR primer, a reaction buffer solution, and Taq DNA polymerase.
