A primer set for detecting an insect-resistant rice is provided to be used for detecting a Cry1Ac including insect-resistant rice(Cry1Ac-Bt rice) simply and rapidly, thereby controlling and managing illegal inflow of the Cry1Ac-Bt rice unauthorized by our country. A primer set for detecting an insect-resistant rice comprises primers described as SEQ ID : NOs. 1 to 4, wherein the insect-resistant rice includes a Cry1Ac gene coding an insect-resistant protein. A method for detecting the insect-resistant rice comprising the Cry1Ac comprises a step of subjecting the rice to a polymerase chain reaction(PCR) using the primers. Further, the insect-resistant rice comprising the Cry1Ac comprises cry1Ac gene coding an insect-resistant protein.
