A percutaneous heart worm removal from dogs with severe heart worm is provided to remove the heart worm with a non-surgical method by mounting a catheter inside pulmonary artery and then using an alligator or tripod forceps. A percutaneous heart worm removal from dogs with severe heart worm infestation includes the steps of: inserting a syringe needle into jugular vein through the skin of a pet that is anesthetized; inserting a guide wire though the syringe needle to make the guide wire disposed inside pulmonary artery; inserting a catheter into the guide wire and making the catheter mounted inside the pulmonary artery; and inserting a forceps into the catheter and removing the heart worm. The diameter of the syringe needle has a size of 18G.
