A system for displaying intelligent integrated metro information and a variable traffic information signboard using the same are provided to enhance driver convenience by displaying various application information in a display unit. A system for displaying intelligent integrated metro information includes an information display unit(300) and an information center. The information display unit includes an image display unit(340), an image library memory(320), a display controller(330), and a data transceiver(310). The image display unit displays a full color image frame, which includes a variable information image for representing city information and a library image of full color image. The image library memory stores the data of the library image. The display controller couples the data of the variable information image and the data of the library image, generates data corresponding to the image frame, and controls the image display unit. The data transceiver is connected with a network. The information center, which is connected with the image display unit, transmits the data of the variable information image, data of the library image, and signals for controlling the image display unit.
