An image monitoring system with a remote controlled shutter for a large-scale ultra-high vacuum device is provided to facilitate maintenance and repair of an optical lens by coupling a light transmitting device with a view port in a sliding manner. One side of a hollow view port(100) faces the inside of a vacuum vessel(10), and the other side thereof faces the outside of a tokamak. The view port has a window at one side and a shutter(110) at one end adjacent to the window. A light transmitting device(200) is installed inside the view port to optically transmit an image inside the vacuum vessel. A power device opens and closes the shutter of the view port. A photographing device(400) is installed at the other end of the view port to obtain the image transmitted by the light transmitting device. A control unit controls operation of the power device and the photographing device.
