摘要

A method for pre-treating carbon nanotubes for carbon nanotube/polymer composites is provided to increase dispersibility of carbon nanotubes for carbon nanotube/polymer composites and allow the production of carbon nanotube/polymer composites having excellent electrical and rheological characteristics. A method for pre-treating carbon nanotubes for carbon nanotube/polymer composites includes the steps of: (1) ultrasonically treating carbon nanotubes in a hydrogen peroxide solution at the temperature of 30-70 ‹C for 50-130 minutes; (2) adjusting pH of the product obtained in the step (1) to 5.0-7.0; and (3) freeze-drying the product obtained in the step (2). The carbon nanotubes are multi-walled carbon nanotubes or single-walled carbon nanotubes.
