A method for constructing a ledger and settlement management system for accounting management in a shipyard is provided to enhance efficiency of accounting business by establishing an accounting management process and systemizing documents related to the accounting business through knowledge management. Each accounting item and an item system of each accounting item are managed based on an enterprise accounting standard by defining a COA(Chart Of Account) system and an account code standard, reflecting requirements of each team, and defining hierarchical structure configuration and a summary level. A cost center for reflecting a cost and a budget is managed to distribute expenses and control the budget based on the cost. A proper exchange rate available to a finance-related module and other modules is managed by receiving a daily exchange rate, inputting the exchange rate for each purpose, and enabling the finance-related module and other modules to refer to the inputted detail exchange rates.
