A call state information recovery method of a soft switch in a broadband convergence network and a system thereof are provided to recover previous call state information before fault is generated even though the call state information is lost owing to the fault in the soft switch which manages the call state information, so that the call state information can be the same as the previous call state information before the fault is generated. If a telephone terminal(11) demands call connection in a broadband convergence network, a soft switch(30) attempts call connection(S1-S3). The soft switch(30) delivers call state information in accordance with the call connection to a call state storage server(40), so that the call state information is stored(S4-S7). If the soft switch(30) is driven again owing to fault generation, the call state information is received from the call state storage server(40) to recover the call state information(S9-S17).
