The invention relates to a hoist stretcher trolley for transferring patients confined to bed, including a rigid base (1), the sides of which are provided with tracks (2) for receiving moving elements (3) which act as a connecting rod, being joined to sections (4) which are located adjacent to the rigid base (1) and which are in turn connected by means of a joint (5) to the lower supporting element (6) on which they travel in order to be opened or closed, such as to push or pull the rigid base (1) as appropriate. The mechanism actuation member is both electric and hydraulic. The moving elements (3) can pivot about the section (4) or form a continuous rigid extension, said elements being optionally provided with bearings which facilitate the movement inside said tracks (2). Two safety pieces (10), namely an upper piece and a lower piece, are provided at the centre of the tracks (2) for the rigid base (1).
