Device that prevents the formation of an unhealthy and / or explosive atmosphere in the immediate environment of a hazardous waste tank that operates under vacuum, during the use of said tank, which includes a tank (1) carried by a tractor vehicle (2 ) and equipped with an open bottom (3), filling and emptying elements (4), a register (5) and a ventilation valve (6), as well as a pumping circuit (7) on which a pump is mounted vacuum (16) that always rotates in the same direction and is associated with an isolation valve (12) and a set of selection valves, in order to allow it to operate according to a suction mode in which the gaseous sky of the tank (1) and expels the gases aspirated into the atmosphere by means of an evacuation nozzle (15), either according to a recoil mode in which outside air is aspirated to send it to the pumping circuit (7) and the tank (1), especially so as to accelerate and / or facilitate the emptying it creating a pressure on the surface of the liquid it contains, characterized in that - the vacuum pump (16) is a liquid ring pump (18) associated with a pump liquid circulation circuit (19) that encloses a refrigerator (20) as well as a tank with liquid ring (21) connected in its upper part to the pumping circuit (7), in order to allow the separation of the pump liquid from the gases circulating in said circuit, and - the circuit The pumping system (7) is made so that it is completely waterproof against the outside with the air at a relative pressure of the order of 0.65 bar, except at the level of the external opening of the evacuation nozzle (15), and is equipped , on the one hand, with an overpressure valve (25) mounted bypass directly downstream of the tank with liquid ring (21) and capable of opening automatically in case of overpressure, so that the gases passing through it in retroc mode this is re-breathed by the pump (16) and, on the other, with a vacuum break valve (26) mounted bypass and capable of opening with the isolation valve (12) at the operator's request to evacuate the gases present in the tank ( 1) towards the evacuation nozzle (15) when the pressure inside it is higher than the atmospheric pressure.
