A method for selection of people with higher exercise performance, conditioned by heart pump function, and also with high will-power is carried out on the base of veloergometry results taking into account of integral value - maximal oxygen consumption. The latter is determined by the Astrand nomogram during heart work under optimum aerobic conditions without overconation at performing of the three-stage loading, which constitutes 35 %, 50 % and 75 % of the rated submaximal loading for each subject taking into account of its sex, height and body mass. The permanent visual control of ECG and heart rate is carried out by the oscilloscope and arterial pressure is measured by the tonometer at the end of each three-minute loading.
