The system has two ends between which a tile (B) is clamped for being cut, and two guides on which a cutting and breaking mechanism moves in the machine direction for cutting the tile. A base of the system includes an angled horizontal flat duct profile, which provides a structural support function for the tile. The cut tile is supported in a horizontal plane by multiple cylindrical shaped rolls made of a soft impression material, where the cylindrical shaped rolls are connected to the base.
