"METHODS TO REDUCE VASPASM IN A SEGMENT OF A BIOLOGICAL CONDUCT, TO REDUCE THE CAPACITY OF A VASE TO VASPASM IN A SEGMENT OF A BIOLOGICAL CONDUCT" Methods for treating or preventing disease in biological ducts are provided herein. In certain embodiments, the methods relate to reducing or preventing vasospasm in blood vessel walls. In other embodiments, the methods described herein relate to reducing the accumulation of intimate hyperplasia in blood vessel walls following vascular procedures, including surgery. The methods include the use of agents that are useful for dilating biological ducts, but at dosages lower than those effective for dilating biological ducts.
