Composition for topical or transdermal administration, and methods for treating nail fragility, thick nails, abnormal nail growth, and skin dryness in a patient to increase the penetration of a single oral anaerobic agent HOT, TO SUPPLY A TRANSDERMICALLY BIOACTIVE AGENT, AND TO PRODUCE A TRANSDERMAL SUPPLY OF A BIOACTIVE AGENT Pharmaceutical formulations comprising topical or transdermal application of Gilsonite oil are described. Methods are also provided for transdermal administration of an increased penetrating bioactive agent comprising topical administration of a composition comprising a transdermally effective amount of Gilsonite oil.
