The process of the vegetative propagation of coffee (Coffea arabica L.) through stem cuttings. The present invention describes the process that allows the cloning "invivo" of coffee (Coffea arabica L.) and the hybrids by means of rooting of cuttings.The process has the following procedures: obtaining cuttings of mother plants, conducted in multicaule, collected about four months after pruning. The preparation of cuttings, consisting of a node and a pair of socks, leaves are 4 to 6 cm and length of treatment with fungicides.After the application is made of the inducer of rooting and the cuttings are placed in the home of fog shaded where they stay during the period of rooting. The substrate used is a mixture of sand and vermiculite (1:1). The application of fertilizers and pesticide applications are made each week.After rooting cuttings are grafted onto polyethylene bags used for conventional seedling formation of half a year; the seedlings are transferred to the nursery trade with irrigation and after ripening are conducted in the same way as the seedlings produced at con Vencional.Using this methodology are formed suitable for planting seedlings within six months after the staking.
