Creating reward system for loyal television viewers, involves sending digital invitation to which viewer can respond during program transmission and storing viewer response in database
A digital signal encoded with an invitation to which a viewer can react is transmitted during the transmission of a digital television program. The viewer's response is detected and stored in a database (5). At least one digital signal is transmitted to a receiver (4) for one or more viewers, from which one or more digital signals are converted according to a suitable protocol into a data stream which is sent to a television (3).
