PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a long-size screw capable of passing through a plurality of units is necessary to connect units for a signal indicator lamp and assembling of the signal indicator lamp is complicated. PSOLUTION: This unit for the signal indicator lamp 1, for example, a display unit 3b can be connected to corresponding units 3a and 3c to form the layered structure. The unit 3b is provided with an internal member 10 and a cylindrical outside case 11 for housing the internal member 10. The internal member 10 includes a terminal 15 to be electrically connected to corresponding terminals 15 of the units 3a and 3c and a holder 16 for holding the terminal 15. The outside case 11 supports the internal member 10 freely to rotate and impossible to move in the axial direction in relation to the outside case 11. The outside case 11 of the unit 3b can be connected to the outside cases 11 of the units 3a and 3c by relatively turning it.
