PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for setting a color target of a printed matter in which a problem generated when a density is managed based on each density target predicted before all colors are printed or when the density is managed based on the density target from a result of color matching by a person on the way of printing total colors and to provide a method and an apparatus for managing the color and an offset printer having them.;SOLUTION: The method for setting the color target of the printed matter comprises the step of managing the colors on a surface of the printed matter by offset printing using inks of minimum KCMY four colors in such a manner that the K is used as the color target of the predicted color before printing is started and the CMY three colors are set as the color target of the colors based on a result of color matching after the printing is started. The method for managing the color comprises the step of regulating ink keys of respective colors according to the color targets. The offset printer is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
