PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature change detector for easily detecting whether or not a temperature change has occurred in an article while being simply and inexpensively manufactured, and to provide a temperature change reader and a temperature change management system for transported articles. PSOLUTION: Two kinds of liquid insoluble in each other and different in specific gravity, such as water 12 and oil 13, are sealed within a transparent container 11 to form a temperature change detection cell 10. The detection cell 10 is frozen and invertedly placed on a frozen article A. By observing whether the position of water (ice) 12 and that of oil 13 within the transparent container 11 have changed places with each other after storing or transporting the article, it can be easily known whether the temperature of the frozen article A has risen or not. Further, two frozen temperature change detection cells 10 are side-by-side placed on the article so that the position of water 12 and that of oil 13 are inverted to form this temperature change detector. By observing whether the position of water 12 and that of oil 13 are in the same positional relation after storing or transporting the article, it can be easily known whether temperature has risen or not.
