PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for controlling a mobile communication service, that can easily provide a server to a roaming user at a roaming destination. ;SOLUTION: A GMLC(Gateway Mobile Location Center) 7 requests a GLR(Gateway Location Register) 5 about in-zone information of a roaming user 11 in response to an inquiry of position information from an ISP(Internet Service Provider) 13. The GLR 5 retrieves information with respect to the roaming user 11 from stored user information to inform the GMLC 7 about the information associated with the roaming user 11. The GMLC 7 acquires the acquired position information of the roaming user 11 from a MSC(Mobile Switching Center) 9 on the basis of the information associated with the roaming user 11 notified from the GLR 5 and provides the acquired position information of the roaming user 11 to the ISP 13. The ISP 13 provides information corresponding to the position information of the roaming user 11 to the roaming user 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
