PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide segments for a shield tunnel that can be joined together without using metal fittings. SOLUTION: A recessed hinge joint 26 made of a resin is buried into one of piece-to-piece joint end faces extending in the circumferential direction of the lining of a segment main body, and a projecting hinge joint 26 made of a resin is buried in the other of the piece-to-piece joint end faces. The recessed hinge joint 26 comprises a female base body 28 having a recessed mating face 28a and an anchor part formed integrally with the back face of the female base body 28 and having a cylindrical cross section, with a locking part projecting from its end in such a way as to open outward. The anchor part is buried in the one of the piece-to-piece joint end faces with the end of the female base body 28 being open. The projecting hinge joint comprises a male base body fitted into the female base body 28 and an anchor part formed integrally with the back face of the male base body and having a cylindrical cross section with a locking part projecting from its end in such a way as to open outward. The male base body is projected from the other of the piece-to-piece joint end faces and is buried.
