PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permeable asphalt pavement material capable of constructing a permeable asphalt pavement at a normal temperature without impairing an environment, providing sufficient strength thereto immediately after paving, and maintaining the fluidity of the aggregate of grains required for the construction for a long period of time.;SOLUTION: This permeable asphalt pavement material is formed by adding and mixing hard-to-volatile oil hard to be soluble in highly viscous asphalt and having a dynamic viscosity (40°C: cSt) of 20 to 100 and a flash point of 200°C or higher into a permeable asphalt mixture formed by mixing highly viscous asphalt into a mixed aggregate formed by mixing a coarse aggregate (crushed stone) with a fine aggregate (sand) in a range that the ratio of the oil to the amount of the highly viscous asphalt is 0.1 to 0.6. Since the highly viscous asphalt adhered to the aggregate by the addition of the oil is swelled and the swelled asphalt is deformed in a lump by rolling at a normal temperature during the paving, a permeable paved surface with high strength can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
