PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable ruled line contained in a business form to be printed in appropriate line width regardless of a type of printer. PSOLUTION: The business form printing system 10 is equipped with a computer 12 and a printer 14. A storage medium 16 of the computer 12 records a business form printing program 18, a business form defining file 20, a printing color converting file 22, a line width converting file 24, and a business form content file 26. The line width converting file 24 stores line width converting information, which indicates a width of the horizontal rule to be instructed to the printer, in correspondence to the line width of the horizontal line contained in the business form defining information according to the type of printer. The business form printing program 18 prepares the business form printing data on the basis of the business form defining file 20. In doing so, the width of the ruled line contained in the business form defining information is converted on the basis of the line width converting information on the type of printer stored in the line width converting file 24.
