PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the accuracy of the shape of a mold side plate for tire molding with high inspection accuracy, without having to rely on visual inspection, and to perform inspection on it with less time and labor. PSOLUTION: The three-dimensional shape of a side plate manufactured on the basis of design data is measured; measured data, indicating the three-dimensional shape of the manufactured side plate, is acquired; and by comparing the shape indicated by the measured data with the shape indicated by the design data, the amount of deviation of the shape indicated by the measured data from the shape indicated by the design data which indicates the shape accuracy of the manufactured side plate is derived.
