PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator being miniaturized and reducing the cost, while improving its discharging performance.;SOLUTION: In this static eliminator, switches 6a, 6b are connected to resisting elements 5a, 5b connected between double voltage rectifying circuits 3, 4, in parallel, and the switches 6a, 6b and switches 1a, 1b connected between the double voltage rectifying circuits 3, 4 and an AC power source 1 are switched on and off by a switch control circuit 8.
