PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control an environment adjusting device or the like by highly precisely detecting biological information such as heart beats and pulses when a person is in sleep or at rest through the use of an ultrasonic vibration sensor, rapidly and reliably transmitting the information to a remote place by a wireless or cable system, and using the detected biological information. PSOLUTION: The biological information detecting device is composed of: the ultrasonic vibration sensor; a PHS module or PHS modem for performing communication with the use of vibration data detected by the ultrasonic vibration sensor via a LAN and PHS lines forming a transmission path; a data communication base station for communicating with the module or modem; and a computer for processing the received data from the ultrasonic vibration sensor and calculating the biological information such as a heart rate, etc. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
