PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual golf competition system for playing golf having reality with a player suitable for improving scores on an actual golf course.;SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 with GPS stores play data indicating play results or play conditions of the actual golf course detected by using a position measuring function of the GPS, and transmits the data to a golf course management server 20. The portable terminal 10 receives course data indicating each golf course and play data of other players on the same course from the management server 20, and displays the data in a competition form corresponding to play situation of a user. The management server 20 stores the course data beforehand, and transmits the course data to the portable terminal 10 corresponding to a request.
