PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel solution device for simultaneous linear equations, allowing the solution of the simultaneous linear equations to be obtained at high speed.;SOLUTION: This parallel solution device for the simultaneous linear equations adopts a method for performing parallel processing in row units. In LU decomposition, possibility/impossibility of execution of each element is controlled by setting and confirmation of a processing flag of the element. In processing for forward erasure and backward substitution, about the solution calculated by a CPU, a calculation item processed by a CPU in the subsequent stage is also calculated by the CPU, and data are delivered to the CPU in the subsequent stage. An arithmetic amount of each the CPU is reduced by controlling the possibility/impossibility of the execution of each the element by the setting and the confirmation of the processing flag of the element, and efficiency of the parallel processing is improved by balancing the arithmetic amount of each the CPU, so that the solution of the simultaneous linear equations can be obtained at high speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
