METHOD FOR ACCURATELY, RAPIDLY AND QUANTITATIVELY ANALYZING PRESENT AMOUNT OF WHOLE PETROLEUM HYDROCARBON IN SOIL, CONTAINER FOR SAMPLING SOIL SUSPECTED TO BE CONTAMINATED WITH PETROLEUM USING IT AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTING DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantitative analyzing method for accurately and rapidly extracting and quantifying the whole petroleum hydrocarbon in soil and capable of being avoided from volatilization and disappearance from sampled soil suspected to be contaminated in a stage before hydrocarbon with a relatively low boiling point contained in the sampled soil is analyzed, a container for sampling soil suspected to be contaminated with the whole petroleum hydrocarbon using it and a soil sample collecting device.;SOLUTION: After the weight of the container housing a predetermined amount of a water soluble organic solvent is preliminarily measured and recorded, the container is sent to the soil sample collecting spot and a predetermined amount of soil is sampled on the soil sample collecting spot to fill the container. The container is hermetically sealed and immediately cooled to be transported to inspection facilities. The container reaching a laboratory is returned to room temperature: after the moisture on the surface of the container is removed, the weight of the container is measured to determine the weight of the sampled soil, and an extraction solvent is subsequently added to the container, so that hydrocarbon in the soil is extracted to be qualified.
