PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior member having a getting on and off support part which can assist a short child or an elderly person when they are getting on or off, without increasing the number of parts, cost and the weight, and also to provide a vehicle equipped therewith.;SOLUTION: The vehicle interior member 10 is mounted to a peripheral edge of a door opening part 72 of a vehicle body, and is equipped with: a peripheral edge wall 121 headed from the opening part to a cabin; and an inner wall 123 extending from the peripheral wall 121 continuously to the front direction, the rear direction, or the upper direction.
