PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and programs for analyzing a bubble behavior and a ship hull whipping response by underwater explosion capable of performing the analysis in a short time.;SOLUTION: The surfaces of bubbles, the free surface of a sea level near a ship hull, and the surface of the water-dipped part of a ship hull structure finite element method model are divided into boundary elements by the element dividing program P1. A fluid portion is calculated by the bubble behavior analyzing program P2 using a singular point distribution method. The time history of the source intensity of each boundary element disposed on the surface of bubbles is obtained. A ship hull structure model is combined with a fluid varying pressure by bubble pulses for analysis while satisfying the requirements for the boundary of the fluid on the free surface of the sea level and the surface of the water-dipped part of the ship hull structure finite element method model by the ship hull whipping response analysis program P3 using the obtained source intensities. A ship hull motion is found by ever-changing the draft and the boundary element area of the water-dipped part of the ship hull, and the transient response of the ship hull structure model and the time history of the fluid varying pressure are calculated directly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
