PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a decorative effect to a grip, and at the same time, to provide a structure by which an uncomfortable feeling is not felt by the contact with a hard article for the fingers which hold the grip, and also, dust and dirt are not accumulated in the grip.;SOLUTION: This writing instrument has the grip at the gripping section of the barrel. The grip is formed of a double structure of the internal grip and the external grip. In this case, the internal grip has a different color from the surface color of the gripping section of the barrel, and consists of a flexible material. The external grip covers the internal grip, has transparency, and consists of a flexible material.
