PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell having a large area using a plastic substrate as a translucent substrate, obtaining high photoelectric conversion efficiency, and keeping the photoelectric conversion efficiency of a high level even if the amount of irradiation light is varied, and to provide its manufacturing method and a dye-sensitized solar cell. PSOLUTION: The photo-electrode for the dye-sensitized solar cell has a current collecting wiring part on the surface of a transparent conductive layer of the translucent substrate formed by forming the transparent conductive layer on a plastic translucent support having elasticity and has a photoelectric conversion layer on which sensitized dye is carried on a transparent conductive layer including the current collecting wiring part, and the photoelectric conversion layer has a press-treated layer, the press-treated layer comes in contact with the transparent conductive layer including the current collecting wiring part, and the press-treated part contains at least two kinds of semiconductor particles having different average particle diameters, without containing a binder.
